Description
The Cat Wrap is made with super-soft fleece in a cat calming navy colour and backed with our tested and certified Pro-Tex fabric offering outstanding levels of cut, abrasion, tear and puncture resistance. Used by vets and other pet care professionals, the Cat Wrap is used as comfy bedding during the patients short stays, hospitalisation or home visits.
When treatments are needed, the Wrap is gentle swaddled around the cat (like a cocoon) with the area to be examined or treated exposed. Wraps can be machine washed and tumbled dried for everyday use.
Please note: The Cat Wrap must be used intelligently, cautiously and with the assumption that injuries caused by animals may occur whilst using it. Be sure you understand the limitations of the Wrap before use. Our commitment is to provide our customers with the best equipment to assist you to carry out your work safely however but we cannot guarantee 100% protection in the wide variety of situations you may encounter. For a longer lifespan, we recommend machine washing at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, no bleaching, no fabric conditioner or ironing, and avoiding tumble dry.

When my cats need treatment, I’d become used to using my thick gardening gloves for protection. This worked to a degree, but the cats would always fight back and I often ended up getting scratched anyway. When the Cat Wrap was suggested to me, I was very sceptical that ‘wrapping’ my cats would make any difference to their behaviour. I was amazed! It was easy and fast to Wrap the cats and it had a on them. Their paws (and claws) were neatly swaddled up and they were able to have their treatments without any drama. It made, what is normally a very stressful event, bearable and I will most definitely be using this technique again.

My cat Florence needed emergency veterinary treatment but she was not keen about being at the vets. They had to sedate her a number of times for blood testing and but they weren’t happy repeating this drug each time. Fortunately, one of the nurses had just received a Cat Wrap and suggested using it. Swaddling Florence made all the difference. She sat quite still and the tests were taken without fuss. I’ve now bought my own Cat Wrap – it makes routine flea and worm treatments so much easier to give. I’d suggest anyone with a wriggly cat get one!
